Hi everybody. My name is Semih ORUÇ. I will present my sameless, magnificent unforgettable experience about EVS Training Course. It was my first training course about EVS except my pre departure meeting. There was 32 participants from different countries. I was the only one who attend to training as a volunteer. At the first time, i noticed that, i can get a lot of experience because they were all mentors, trainers, coordinators. First of all during the training course, i learned that ”How should a training course be?” Because in my opinion our training was perfect. Also, i learned the EVS better because we made more than 5 workshops about EVS. I developed my English vocabulary about EVS, communication, introduce myself and my association. Also i learned some basic words to communicate in Arabic and Greek. I found chance to understand how can i keep myself motivated for my EVS project, how can i get more gains from the project… Also, during the workshops, i experienced that how can i be a useful member in a team thanks to my team mates. I noticed that different methods and ideas might be useful for the solution then mine. I stayed together with 2 Palestinian guy for 10 days. During our days, i experienced that learning something new about different cultures is very exciting. We are all human, we can be happy in same situation or be sad. We are same. I think this is the meaning of the EVS.
